Who is Alex Jocko?
Alex was born in Calgary, AB and now resides in Edmonton, AB. After attending NAIT's Graphic Communications program, she began working with various YEG print shops to hone her skills in graphic design and print production. With over 10 years of industry experience, Alex now serves a number of local businesses as a freelance designer. Her design style focuses on vibrant colours and clean lines.
While Alex enjoys exploring new typefaces, studying modern design techniques and practicing new Adobe programs, she makes sure to spend time away from the computer too. Alex is usually training for some kind of athletic endeavor (most recently completing Calgary's 50km Ultra Marathon, 2021). She loves to be outside with her toddler and hyper blue heeler. Other times you may find her curled up with her book club's latest pick, at a friend's house pushing all in on Ace-Jack suited, or tasting local burgers and brews.
Recently Alex has launched her passion project, Inspector Vector. Through it she hopes to improve her design skills while focusing on vector illustrations and icon creation. IG @inspectorvector.yeg
